GREENSBORO — A 23-year-old man was robbed of personal items and his girlfriend's car Saturday night.

Greensboro police said Brandon Jerell Blackwell was walking to the car at around 11 p.m. Saturday when he noticed two men sitting outside an apartment at 1905 Everitt St.

The first man asked Blackwell if he could use his cell phone. The second man pointed a rifle at Blackwell and demanded his personal effects. Police did not say what they were.

Blackwell handed over the items and ran behind the building. When he returned, the two men were gone. Greensboro police said a maroon 1993 Buick Regal was gone, too. It has N.C. plates YNR-4874.

No injuries were reported. Police had incomplete descriptions of the suspects.

Anyone with information about this incident can call Crime Stoppers at 373-1000.
