GREENSBORO — Police are telling drivers to take it easy this morning because fog and ice has made travel treacherous.
Greensboro police are dealing with numerous accidents this morning, especially on overpasses that froze overnight after Tuesday's rain. Interstate 40 and other major roads also are slick.
The National Weather Service said patches of ice will make travel difficult until about 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Most area school systems, including Guilford and Winston-Salem/Forsyth, are closed today.
