Page High evacuated after bathroom fire

GREENSBORO — Page High School was evacuated Thursday afternoon after a fire in a bathroom trash can.
No injuries were reported. The school was evacuated about 2 p.m. due to the amount of smoke coming from the first-floor bathroom.
The fire was extinguished by the time firefighters arrived, said Battalion Chief T.D. Hohn. The school was evacuated without any problems and likely will remain evacuated for about an hour.
The police and fire departments will investigate the cause of the fire.
