LEXINGTON — A 20-year-old man has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon after a man was stabbed in the back at a party.
The Davidson County Sheriff's Office said the victim, whom it did not identify, was treated at Lexington Memorial Hospital for undisclosed injuries.
Deputies said the stabbing happened after a party Saturday. According to the sheriff's office, the victim left the party went home to 127 Kayla Brooke Drive. Sometime later, another man who had been at the party came to the victim's home and got into a fight. The victim was stabbed once in the back with a pocket knife. The sheriff's office gave no motive for the attack.
Deputies later arrested Kevin James Satterlee Jr., 20, of 131 Ed Tiser Road. His bond was set at $15,000, and he is due in court Feb. 1.
