WINSTON-SALEM — A 23-year-old man has been charged in an October slaying.
Winston-Salem police said that Jerome Marvin Taylor of 2843 Piedmont Circle was arrested Tuesday and charged with first degree murder and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon. Taylor is being held in the Forsyth County jail without bond, and he is due in court Jan. 29.
The charges follow the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Marcus Stephen Miller on Oct. 22. Police said officers found Miller mortally wounded at 1752 Pleasant St.
