GREENSBORO — A teenage girl is in stable condition at Moses Cone Hospital after being shot in the throat early Sunday, the police say.
The Greensboro Police Department identified the shooting victim as 16-year-old DeShaun Jandi Harrington.
Police responded to a call of a fight with shots fired at the community center at 1801 10th St. When officers arrived, they were advised of a possible gunshot victim who was transported to Moses Cone Hospital by a private vehicle.
Police are still investigating the incident. Anyone with information about this shooting is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 373-1000.
