Update: Police find truck in fatal hit-and-run
WINSTON-SALEM – Officers have located a vehicle involved in a fatal wreck on Sunday.
Leisa Trivette Adams, 27, of Winston-Salem died after being struck by a pickup truck about 4 a.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of Carver School Road, according to police. The driver of the truck did not stop and left the area headed south toward New Walkertown Road.
Police today said they located the vehicle, a blue 1986 Chevrolet Silverado. No further details were released as officers continue their investigation.
