Danville (VA) -- A Danville man faces a first-degree murder charge after police found a man shot to death inside his home on Friday.
City police were notified around 8:35 p.m. of a shooting at 402 North Ridge St. They discovered the body of 75-year-old Robert Lee Terry laying on the floor suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.
Terry died at the scene as a result of his injury, according to police officials. Jeffrey Kent Graves, 47, was arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree murder. He is being held in the Danville City Jail without bond.
