Two Davidson County men were arrested Monday and nearly 20 pounds of marijuana were seized during a drug probe.
The arrest was part of a month-long investigation of 3903 Horseshoe Neck Road in the Lexington area, according to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.
Timothy Neal Harrell, 48, who lived at that address, is charged with trafficking marijuana and maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled a substance. Authorities seized $5,360 from him along with 19.5 pounds of marijuana, according to a news release.
Billy Ray Scott, 58, also of 3903 Horseshoe Neck Road was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The seized marijuana has a street value of about $20,000, according to the sheriff’s office.
Harrell was initially held in jail on a $100,000 bond; Scott was held on a $5,000 secured bond.
