Business sees helping nonprofits a sign of the times

GREENSBORO — One Greensboro business is helping nonprofits spread the word in tough economic times.

Sign-A-Rama is providing $25,000 worth of free and discounted signs to nonprofits through its "signs of support" grant program.

The company is accepting applications until Feb. 28.

Groups can request signs for events include interior or exterior, temporary or permanent.

Businesses are eligible if they are a local, secular or faith-based nonprofit, a local affiliate of registered charities, a local, non-government civic group or part of the Triad-area public school system.
