Help set the priorities for local service agencies

Take advantage of an opportunity to guide community investments in health and human services for years to come. “Voices.Choices. Greensboro’s Human Services Study” is co-sponsored by the United Way of Greater Greensboro and four community foundations. The results will allow United Way and other human services organizations to determine their investment priorities for the future.

The heart of the assessment is a simple survey available online and in hard copy formats that can be picked up at United Way of Greater Greensboro and the Central Library. The last day to complete the survey is Dec. 28, so visit  www.unitedwaygso.org/voiceschoices to learn more and take the survey.

Since the assessment began this fall, there have been 14 focus groups and four  community forums. Those meetings were completed by the end of November; however, everyone in Greensboro can still participate and make an impact in the assessment by taking the survey. The last assessment of this kind was completed five years ago, so the opportunity to shape priorities for the years to come is now. The Voices.Choices task force of community volunteers reflects the diversity of our community, and we would like our diverse community to respond to this survey to let us know what you feel are the critical needs in Greater Greensboro.
