Marves Industries, which makes cushioning and pads used in mattresses, will open a plant in Burke County, Gov. Bev Perdue said today.
The company, based in Mexico, will invest $1.75 million and create 66 jobs in Hildebran. The company will get a $200,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund, according to a news release.
Marves Industries plans to open a plant in the former Bauer facility in Hildebran using the existing equipment. The new jobs will pay an average annual wage of $33,636, not including benefits.
