Helpful friends and neighbors deserve appreciation every day

I have the best neighbors in the country.

Roy and Carol Edwards  are all the time doing things for me. Carol and her daughter, Kim,  fix things for me. Roy picks up my paper and gets my mail for me and puts it on the porch. He takes my garbage can out and brings the can back. And he mows my lawn.

Kim is always bringing me something for supper. She is one of the sweetest people.

David Summers  and Jack and Gloria McConnell  also do  nice things for me.

I thank God every day for them.

This world would be a better place if more people were like them.

Friends are worth more than all the money in the world.

* * *

Who can take care of 14 grandchildren and still find time to take a neighbor to the doctor?

Who can volunteer at the grandchildren’s school and still help a neighbor cut her lawn?

Who can volunteer at his wife’s work and still have time to help his neighbors?

Clyde!  He’s the man! He is willing to help all of us. Thank you, Clyde.
