Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I have to say that I am truly blessed and thankful for having a wonderful husband and kids, a great job and good health.

If you don’t have any plans for the holiday, St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Reidsville is offering a Thanksgiving service and lunch. Volunteers and local businesses offer this to everyone in our county.

On Friday, Olde Leaksville will host the Leaksville Night Time Christmas Parade. Listen to high school marching bands, watch dance teams and check out all the floats as you wait for Santa to arrive. The parade starts at 6 p.m.

And on Saturday, The Hoppers will have a homecoming concert at Osborne Baptist Church in Eden. This musical group from Madison will entertain you with their music ministry.

Special guests will be the Original Hopper Brothers & Connie. After the concert, the Hopper family will greet those who attend the concert.
