BURLINGTON – A bank robber matching the description of man who has robbed multiple banks in the Triad over the past month struck again Tuesday in Burlington.

Police said the man entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The man fled with an undisclosed amount. No injuries were reported.
The man was described as a white man in his 40s with a fair complexion, dark hair and a full beard with some gray.
He was around 5 feet 10 inches tall and wore dark sunglasses, a black and red jacket and a green baseball cap.

The description also matches that of a man who robbed a bank last week in Spartanburg, S.C.
In all of the robberies, the man wore similar clothing and robbed the bank the same way.
No weapons have been displayed and many of the notes referenced the man stating he had a bomb.
Up until Tuesday, the man wore a jacket with the University of Cincinnati Bearcats logo on the breast in the Triad robberies.
