Police clear case on death of Reidsville man

WENTWORTH — Rockingham District Attorney Phil Berger Jr. will not file charges in the February shooting death of a Reidsville man.
Investigators from the Reidsville Police Department and the state Bureau of Investigation concluded that Holden Taylor Ledbetter, of 236 Holly Hills Drive, died from an accidental discharge of a gun and neither drugs nor alcohol played a role, according to a press release.
Police found the 19-year-old Ledbetter lying dead in a front bedroom in a home on Wentworth Street on Feb. 27.
