MIAMI 85, SOUTH CAROLINA 70: James Dews scored 22 points and Dwayne Collins added 17 points to go with 15 rebounds, leading Miami past South Carolina 85-70 in the championship game of the Charleston Classic on Sunday night.
Collins was selected as the MVP of the tournament.
"Our guys showed some composure, even though we had 24 turnovers," Miami coach Frank Haith said. "When we needed to make a play, we made a play. I thought our rebounding was the key to the game."
Miami (5-0) outscored the Gamecocks (4-1) 11-5 in the final 2:25 to clinch it. Miami outrebounded South Carolina 30-16 in the first half.
NO. 21 GEORGIA TECH 85, BOSTON U 67: Zachery Peacock had 22 points to lead Georgia Tech (3-1) to fifth-place at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
SOUTH FLORIDA 74, UNC-WILMINGTON 66: John Fields led UNC-Wilmington (1-4) with 17 points and 15 rebounds.
PENN ST. 59, DAVIDSON 57: Jake Cohen led Davidson (0-4) with 13 points and nine rebounds.
MURRAY STATE 84, N.C. CENTRAL 61: B.J. Jenkins scored 16 points, leading five Murray State players in double figures.

Ryne Smith added 16 points while E'Twaun Moore and Mark Wohlford each scored 11 for the Boilermakers (3-0), who play No. 10 Tennessee in the championship game.
Trailing by nine in the first half, Purdue rallied and used a 23-3 run to start the second half and put the game away.

NO. 20 LOUISVILLE 90, MORGAN STATE 81: Samardo Samuels had 23 points and 12 rebounds, Preston Knowles added 13 points and the Cardinals struggled to put away the Bears at Freedom Hall.
NO. 5 VILLANOVA 79, MISSISSIPPI 67: Antonio Pena had 17 points and 16 rebounds for the Wildcats (5-0), who did nothing to diminish their status as favorites in the Big East during their trip to the Caribbean.
