GREENSBORO — A Greensboro man is charged in connection with a Nov. 17 shooting on Phillips Ave.
Damerel Demonte Fox, 31, of 1705-B 10th St., is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharge of a weapon in an occupied property, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a stolen firearm.
Fox is accused of shooting Kevin Eric Fikes Jr. as Fikes sat in a car at 2200 Phillips Ave. on Nov. 17. Fikes was hospitalized with three gunshot wounds.
Fox is in the Guilford County jail under a $500,000 secured bond.
