BURLINGTON -- Police are looking for six suspects who officials say forced their way into a home and robbed the family living there.
The incident occurred about 7:40 p.m. when the six men armed with handguns forced their way into a home on Key Street, according to a police report. The men robbed the 11 family members, hit one family member in the face with a gun, and then ran from the house.
Police and a K-9 unit from the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office searched for the robbers for more than an hour but did not locate them.
