Pizza deliverer robbed, assaulted in Greensboro

GREENSBORO — A deliverer for Golden Gate Pizza was robbed and assaulted by two suspects armed with handguns Thursday night, police said.
About 11:32 p.m., Suresh Nambiar, 46, was delivering food at 212 Berryman St. when he was approached by the suspects, Greensboro police said in a news release.
One suspect wearing a ski mask demanded money, but then punched Nambiar in the jaw when the victim said he didn't have any, according to police.
The suspects took all the food and fled.
Police ask those with information to call Crimestoppers at 373-1000.
