GREENSBORO — One man featured in “Guilford County’s Most Wanted” has been arrested today.
Greensboro police Warrant Squad officers responded to 403 Franklin Blvd. on a Crime Stoppers tip regarding Keith O’Brian Lane. The officers located Lane, 26, and took him into custody with the assistance of patrol officers.
As of 4:58 p.m., Lane was being transported to the Greensboro jail, police said. At this time it is unknown what, if any, bond will be given.
Lane was wanted by Greensboro police for armed robbery and second-degree kidnapping. He is Guilfod County jail in downtown Greensboro under a combined bond of $25,100 bond for those charges and an unrelated traffic violation.
Officers responded May 30 to a robbery on Lakefield Drive. The male victim said a black man came to his home and asked about a video game. When the man left, two other black men ran up the steps and pushed him inside his apartment. The video game inquirer also came inside. The three men — armed with guns — robbed him of jewelry and electronics. The victim identified Lane from a photo lineup.
Lane is the 134th suspect to have been arrested, found or turned himself in since February 2008. The News & Record has featured 190 people wanted on criminal charges each Monday since then.
