GREENSBORO — A man was robbed while working on his car in his driveway Thursday night.
Greensboro police said 20-year-old Lamar McKinley Tillery was not hurt during the incident, which happened at 9:06 p.m. at 3842 Green Point Drive.
According to police, Tillery was working on his vehicle when two men approached him. While one man acted as a lookout, the second man took Tillery's wallet, car keys and the vehicle's DVD player. The second suspect had a handgun. Both took off running. Police did not say how much cash was taken.
A police dog tracked the suspects to the 3900 block of Overland Heights, but the trail ended there.
Police said both suspects were black men in their early 20s. One stood 6-foot-3 to 6-foot-5 and has a slim build. He wore jeans and a camouflage jacket. The second man stood 5-8 and has a slim build and a dark complexion. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
