Fog advisory for Davidson, Randolph

A dense fog advisory is in effect for portions of central North Carolina until 10 a.m. today.
The National Weather Service in Raleigh issued the advisory for nine counties. In the Triad, Davidson, Randolph and Montgomery are included in the alert.
The dense fog will limit visibility to a quarter mile or less. Motorists should slow down, use headlights and leave plenty of distance to the next vehicle.
