GREENSBORO — City offices will close and city service schedules will change to observe the Thanksgiving holiday next Thursday.

Here are the closings and schedule changes:

City offices: Closed Thursday and Friday.

Trash/recycling collection: None on Thursday. Thursday's collection will take place Wednesday. Friday's collection is unchanged.

White Street Landfill: Closed Thursday. Will resume regular hours Friday.

Solid Waste Transfer Station: Closed Thursday. Will resume regular hours Friday.

Greensboro Public Library: Closed Thursday and Friday. Regular hours will resume Saturday.

Greensboro Historical Museum: Closed Thursday and Friday. Regular hours will resume Saturday.

Greensboro Transit Authority and HEAT: No buses on Thursday. Friday's service will operate on a Saturday schedule. Regular service will resume Saturday:

SCAT: Limited life-sustaining service will be available Thursday; call 333-6589 for reservations. Regular service will resume Friday.

Career Express: On Thursday, service will run only Routes 5 (N.C. Amtrak Connector) and 7 (Mountaineer Express). On Friday, all Career Express service will be offered except for Route 4 (Medical Connections UNC/Duke). Regular service will resume Saturday.
