REIDSVILLE — Police are seeking a man who robbed a Reidsville grocery store on Nov. 11.
A store clerk at Stadler’s Grocery on 2021 Highway 14 said that a man jumped over the counter about 1:16 p.m., grabbed her arm and pointed a small, handgun at her head, according to a news release from the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect instructed her to open the cash register and she complied. The man took the till with an undisclosed amount of money, jumped over the counter and fled the store.
He is described as being between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing about 180 pounds. He was wearing a blue jump suit, dark-colored ski mask.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Det. Ben Strader at 336- 634 3238 or call Crime Stoppers at 349-9683. Anonymous callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
