Sheetz opening 3rd store in Greensboro

Sheetz has opened its third location in Greensboro.

The 5,000-square-foot convenience store, which also sells gas, is at 1001 Gardner Hill Drive in Greensboro.

A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for 3 p.m. Friday.

The company operates more than 350 convenience stores throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina.

Looks like the map is not correct. The street is not on Google yet.

Greensboro GIS shows it at Guilford College & High Point Rd in Jamestown.

If this map is correct, I could imagine how the home owners feel about a gas station and convenience store right in the heart of the neighborhood, away from the main streets. Someone needs to update the map location of the new Sheetz.

The map has been removed as the address is not yet available in Google Maps. Thanks for pointing out the error.

The gas prices are excellent. I love their coffee and coffee drinks! Great selection. This place is at the corner of HP Road and Guilford College-Jamestown Rd.

Sheetz stores are nice when they're new, but then they go downhill. I stopped going to them a few months back because they're always so dirty.

How 'bout some qualification there, genius? Like "some Sheetz blah blah blah." I've been going to Sheetz for about 10 years or more. I can think of just 2 or 3 that are not always quite clean, and only one of those is in the Triad.

Okay...here's your qualification: ALL Sheetz stores that I've been in (Mebane, Guilford College Rd, Wendover, and the one in Wilson NC) have been far dirtier than their competitors.

No it's not. It's at the corner of High Point Rd and Guilford College, which puts it in an unincorporated part of the county, closer to Greensboro than Jamestown.
