Political correctness protected alleged killer

Monday, November 16, 2009
(Updated 3:00 am)

Political correctness has killed more than a dozen of our brave soldiers at Fort Hood. To be sure, a Muslim allegedly pulled the trigger, but it was political correctness that allowed him to do so.

Those in positions to do something to avert the tragedy knew about his attitude and beliefs long before he allegedly started shooting. They knew of the possible danger he posed. But they did nothing.

Why not? Because he was a Muslim. They were unwilling to call him out because he was a Muslim. Had he been a Baptist or Methodist, they would have acted.

But we dare not offend a Muslim these days, even though it is Muslims who have sworn to kill us all. It is considered improper to “profile” people who look like they might be Muslim, even if they are in line to board a passenger jet. Even if they are already on the plane and acting suspiciously, the American Civil Liberties Union will come to their aid if they are called out.

This is insanity. Political correctness is going to destroy this country if we don’t change our attitude.

It will be interesting to see how the little messiah reacts to this terrorist attack. If early reactions are any indication, ("we must not rush to judgment") there will be no retaliation at all, but rather the Fort Hood jihadist will become the victim, deserving of our sympathy for enduring years of humiliation at the hands of white Christian males. (George Bush in particular)

It has already been swept under the rug, marked down as nothing more than a loose cannon whose mind snapped. Nothing to do with him being a friggin Mooslim at all.

The Army and FBI knew about this nutcase for over a year. Instead of deporting him or jailing him, which should have been done, they made him a Major and shipped him off to Fort Hood, to let them worry about him. And now, after the fact, General George Casey is more worried that the Army might lose its precious 'diversity' than he is about preventing any more similar attacks: "I believe it would be an even greater tragedy if our diversity becomes a casualty here". That brain-dead approach will only get more soldiers killed.

This wasn't an 'incomprehensible tragedy', it was an act of terror. Those responsible for protecting us won't even admit that. How can they possibly do anything about a problem if they won't even admit that we have a problem?

So

We have an Army,FBI, Jihad conspiracy.

Sawdust now questions the competence of the FBI and military.

Does this mans military presence pre date OBAMA.

How far back does the conspiracy go?

Sawdust

November 16, 2009 - 11:39 pm EST

I didn't say it was a conspiracy, you made up that part. But the FBI knew last year that Hasan was in contact with al Qaeda, and did nothing about it. Two (counte 'em, two) FBI terrorism task forces knew what he was up to. I didn't say that either the army or the FBI was incompetent, just that the culture of political correctness precluded carrying out their responsibilities for ensuring our safety. It's really pretty simple to understand. I can't imagine why you're having so much trouble with it. They let Hasan slide because he's a friggin' mooslim.

Would these FBI/Army people be liberals.
What do you think?

"culture of political correctness "

When did this culture start.
When did they know.

I'm very confused.

Didn't the Bushes spend a great dealof time with the Saudies.

Has liberalism infiltrated our military.

You're 100% correct about one thing: you're very confused. Probably George Bush's fault.

All efforts will be made to deny this was an act of terrorism. Unfortunately there will likely be more.

I thought Obama's world apology tour was supposed to take care of this. With Obama in charge, the rest of the world would love us, especially the Mooslims. I guess Major Hasan was too busy bowing to Mecca and giving lectures on the proper method of pouring boiling oil down the throats of infidels to listen to Obama's grovelling.

The man had SoA (Soldier of Allah) on his business cards, for God's sake. The FBI knew last year (last year!!!) that he was in contact with al Qaeda. He might as well have had a big sign around his neck. "Warning!! Radical Islamic Terrorist! Keep back 200 feet".

The Army, the moonstream media, and the Obama administration are all trying to convince us that this was not a terrorist attack. We were told not to "jump to conclusions", despite the obvious facts before our eyes. Obama described it as incomprehensible. To him maybe, but I comprehended it right away. I was pretty sure, before I heard any mention of names or religion, that the shooter was a Mooslim. Just sounded like something a Mooslim would do.

Turns out Major Hasan was wearing a shalwar kameez, or "Punjabi suit" on the fateful day. There is only one occasion when Arabs wear this outfit: on the way to jihad. But we are not supposed to jump to the rather obvious conclusion that Hasan is a jihadist.

Political correctness prevented action to protect the young men and women who died that day. It didn't take a Sherlock Holmes to figure out that Hasan was a dangerous man. But our unwillingness to offend any Mooslim, for any reason, killed those soldiers. This is insanity.

You posts are filled with lies, distortions, ignorance and bigotry. They do not reflect intelligence, only BS.

Sawdust

Please point out the lies, distortions, and ignorance, instead of just throwing out the charge. Bigoted? Let's see: intolerant toward those who disagree, according to Oxford. I am increasingly intolerant toward those who believe that their religion compels them to kill me and mine, so I guess I'm a bigot when it comes to mooslims. I don't deny or apologize for that. I think they deserve contempt, as well as disagreement with their barbarous religion. And until they purge their religion of those who want to kill me, I have no respect for them.

I must agree with you as this does appear to be the case.
We should learn to restrain jumping to conclussions. We should all restain ourselves as the supreme leader did in Cambridge, wait until we know the facts, then say how stupidly the soldiers were.

What's all the confusion about? Remember in school when you'd get in an argument or a fight with a black? It never mattered if you were in the right. but all of a sudden there'd be ten more blacks on top of you calling you cracka, honky, mofo, punkass, etc. And why would Obama be any different?

The CIA would have liked to help but were busy preparing their defense from this administration. Can't wait till Holder puts New York and Bush on trial for 9/11. Our country deserves better.

Despite all the racism up above (Mooslim, 'I knew it was a Mooslim right away), there is some truth in the argument. We should not let our reluctance to offend someone, even in fear of our offense being perceived as racial discrimination, prevent us from taking steps to protect ourselves. If there's evidence that any person, especially one that we pay to carry a weapon, is mentally unstable, committing or preparing to commit a crime, they should be investigated, regardless of skin color. That's obvious.

Now that doesn't mean that every apparent Muslim needs a cavity check at airport security or that you should call the cops just because a black man walked down your street at 3 in the afternoon. It just means that suspicious people are suspicious, and they should be investigated.

Sawdust

It isn't racism, it's bigotry. I don't think mooslims are inferior because of their race, their physical bodies, over which they have no control. I think they are inferior because of their bass-ackwards, barbarous, misogynist religion, over which they do have control, and which teaches some to kill in its name. Not all of them, not by a long shot. But those who do should be publicly expelled from Church, so to speak, if Islam is truly a religion of peace, as we're constantly told. They have to prove it to me, not just tell me. I don't see any sign of that happening any time soon. Before I consider them to be civilized people, they need to civilize their religion. You are free to consider them as anything you wish.

Sawdust

November 17, 2009 - 6:07 pm EST

I guess someone's worried that they might go around shooting one another. So the Army got gun control. It worked about as well as it did on the campus of Virginia Tech. Whodathunkit? A man on his way to murder a bunch of people doesn't stop to worry about getting written up for carrying a gun. Now, I'm pretty sure that's not the way it's supposed to work. Gun control, political correctness, diversity, all ideas of the political left. Wonder if there's a lesson here somewhere?

Do they come under the second amendment.
