Flu clinics to be held in Guilford

Guilford County's health department will administer vaccines for the H1N1 and the seasonal versions of the flu Dec. 5.

The first clinic will be from 8 a.m. to noon at the department's High Point location, 501 E. Green Drive.

The second will be from noon to 4 at the health department's location at 1203 Maple St. in Greensboro.

The H1N1 vaccine will be available to five groups:

* children 6 months to 24 years of age

* pregnant women

* health care workers and emergency services personnel

* adults from 25 to 64 with underlying health conditions

* household contacts and caregivers of children ages 6 months and younger.

The seasonal flu vaccine will be available for those 4 to 18 years old.
