MEBANE — Two boys will face drug charges after an investigation of drug activity on Oct. 28 at Eastern Alamance High School.
A school resource officer assigned to the school submitted a request for the juvenile petition Monday, alleging possession of narcotic drugs and disorderly conduct for one boy, a press release states.
The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office on Friday will charge the other boy with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
Both boys are under the age of 16. Police do not release the names of juveniles.
Randy Jones, the sheriff's office spokesman, said no additional charges are pending.
