Thursday's traffic problems

Here are some of the traffic problems motorists should look out for today:

In Guilford County, the N.C. Department of Transportation says High Rock Road between Frieden Church Road and Huffine Mill Road is closedbecause of flooding. The ooad is expected to reopen at 1 p.m. Friday.

Also in Guilford County, Huffine Mill Road is closed in both directions between McLeansville Road and Wrangler Court due to flooding. The road is expected to reopen at 2:35 p.m. Friday.

The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office reported these road closings as of 11 a.m. Thursday:

• 2103 Anglin Mill Road in Stoneville (tree in roadway)

• Dan Valley Road near East Decatur Street east of Madison (high water)

• 437 Elon Drive in Reidsville (tree in roadway)

• 100 block of Grogan Lake Road in Madison (high water)

• 100 Means Creek Road in Reidville (tree in roadway)

• 100 and 405 Mineral Springs Road in Madison (tree in roadway)

• Narrow Gauge Road at the creek, east of U.S. 29 Bypass in Reidsville (high water)

• 150 N.C. 65 south of Wentworth (tree in roadway)

• N.C. 770 at Cascade Creek near the Virginia line, east of Eden (high water)

• Oregon Hill Road near Business 29 in Reidsville (high water)

• 2800 block of River Road at Deep Springs Church Road in Stoneville (high water)

• Town Creek Road between bridges in Eden (high water)

• Washington Avenue in Reidsville (high water)

• Wolf Island Road below golf course in Reidsville (high water)

• 1761 Wolf Island Road (tree in roadway)

• 127 Dan River Church Road in Eden (tree in roadway)

The sheriff's office also reported that a tree hit a mobile home at 272 VFW Road in Reidsville.
