Man shot to death in Danville

DANVILLE, Va. — A local man was fatally shot early today.
Police in Danville, Va., identified the victim as 35-year-old James Willie Adams of Danville.
Police said they found Adams in the road in the 1300 block of Washington Street at 2:30 a.m. Thursday. He died about an hour later at Danville Regional Medical Center.
Police have no suspects and did not make public a possible motive for the shooting.
