End wasteful spending

Friday, November 13, 2009
(Updated 3:00 am)

Why would anyone want to waste valuable health care dollars on unnecessary administrative costs, unnecessary advertising costs, unnecessary lobbying costs and unnecessary profits for health care insurance companies?

Because it's not about health care, Ms. Safrit.

"...unnecessary profits" Same economic ignorance, same issue, from a repeat letter writer. Encourage your representatives, state and federal to have health insurance companies compete across state lines with a variety of plans. They could be doing it now while the central planners in Washington argue.

Those two words tell us all we need to know about the writer. Doubtless voted for the Great One.

Anybody want to go out on a limb and guess whether Obama is a one term President? My head says yes, but my heart says no. I say (regrettably) no.

Not a chance, JMW. He'll be a two-term president cause as much as people say they want change, they really don't.

Plus, he's got an automatic 15% of the population that will vote for him and they will once again come out in huge numbers to support free health care, bigger financial aid payouts, and higher (un)earned income credits among other things.

'an automatic 15%.' ...? would you clarify?

I'll not even mention that it generally takes over 50% to win, or at least near 50%...
