WINSTON-SALEM — A man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash today after robbing the Piedmont Advantage Credit Union.
Winston-Salem police said a man entered the credit union at 676 Hanes Mall Blvd. shortly before 11 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money.
The man displayed no weapon, and no injuries were reported. No customers were in the credit union when it was robbed.
Police described the suspect as a tall black man with a thin build who weighs between 150 and 160 pounds. He has a thin mustache and wore a dark knit cap and a burgundy hooded jacket.
