Second man charged in fatal Eden shooting
EDEN — A second person has been charged in the shooting death of a Virginia man over the weekend.
Eden police said detectives arrested 21-year-old Shavon Lamont Reid at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Reid, of 3653 Daniels Creek Road in Martinsville, Va., was charged with first degree murder. Bond information was not immediately available.
The charges follow the shooting death of Timothy Ronnel Seay, 37, of Martinsville on Saturday. Seay was shot several times outside the Eden's Icehouse Club & Lounge at 634 Monroe St.
A juvenile from Virginia turned himself in early Tuesday. Police did not identify the juvenile, who has been charged on a juvenile petition with first degree murder.
Two other men were wounded during the incident.
