BURLINGTON — Police released surveillance photos today of a man suspected of robbing a McDonald's restaurant two days ago.
Burlington police described the suspect as a black man who stands 5-foot-8 and weighs 175 pounds. He is bald and wore a dark jogging suit with white stripes during the robbery.
Police said the McDonald's at 3446 S. Church St. was robbed at 11:52 p.m. Monday. An employee said the man approached him in the parking lot behind the restaurant and demanded money. The employee ran into the restaurant and outside again through another door.
The suspect then entered the restaurant through a rear door and demanded money from a second employee, who ran out of the business.
No money was taken and no injuries were reported. Anyone with information about this incident can call Crimestoppers at 229-7100 or police at 229-3500.
