WINSTON-SALEM — Twelve cars had one or more tires slashed early this morning.
Winston-Salem police said the vandalism happened in the 100 block of Westdale Avenue. It was reported at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said it appears that 22 tires parked along Westdale Avenue were cut with a knife. Officers estimated damage at about $2,200.
No injuries were reported. Police had an incomplete description of the suspect, whom a witness saw running from the area.
