EDEN — Police have charged a juvenile with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of a Martinsville, Va., man early Saturday morning.
Police said the juvenile was accompanied by a relative when he turned himself in about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. He has been charged on a juvenile petition with first-degree murder in the death of Timothy Ronnel Seay, 37. Seay died of multiple gunshot wounds outside the Eden's Icehouse Club & Lounge.
The juvenile is from Virginia, but police did not name a city in a news release. He is being held in the regional juvenile detention center in Greensboro.
Jason Maurice Gallant, 25, of Richmond, Va., and Terris Tewayne Dandridge, 30, of Martinsville, Va., were also injured in the shooting. The three men were found with gunshots outside the club at 634 Monroe St.
Police are investigating the case with the Henry County, Va., Sheriff's Office. They anticipate additional arrests.
