CANES LOOK FOR ANSWERS: The reeling Carolina Hurricanes are hoping last year's first-round draft pick, Zach Boychuk, can help them snap their long losing streak.
The Hurricanes are recalling the center from their AHL Albany affiliate. The 20-year-old Boychuk has four goals and five assists in his first full professional season with Albany.

BULLS STOP CAVS: Luol Deng scored 15 points and helped stop LeBron James on a drive in the final seconds as the Chicago Bulls ended Cleveland's three-game winning streak with an 86-85 win over the Cavaliers. Derrick Rose had 14 points and 11 assists and John Salmons added 14 points for the Bulls.
LIEBERMAN TO COACH MEN'S TEAM: Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman was introduced as the head coach of the Mavericks' affiliate in the NBA Development League, which will begin play next November. She is the first woman hired as head coach of a men's professional basketball team.
