WINSTON-SALEM — The Forsyth County Department of Public Health will hold an H1N1 and a seasonal flu clinic on Tuesday.
Shots will be given from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the health department offices at 799 N. Highland Ave. Shots will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is no cost for the vaccine, but people should bring insurance or Medicaid cards.
Seasonal flu vaccine will be available only for children between 6 months and 18 years.
H1N1 shots will be given only to:
* pregnant women
* children and young adults from 6 months to 24 years of age
* household contacts and caregivers of children younger than six months
* practicing health care workers; they must bring evidence of employment or licensing.
* persons between 25 and 64 who have a chronic health problem such as asthma, diabetes, anemia and other blood disorders or heart, lung, kidney or liver disease.
