Why Asheboro won: The Blue Comets offense did its part, rushing for more than 300 yards, and the defense finished the game with an interception, allowed 276 total yards, forced Southern Guilford to punt five times, and held the Storm scoreless for the final three quarters of the game.

Stars: Asheboro - RB Dmitri Faglier 49 carries for 291 yards, TD. Southern Guilford - RB Warren Scott 23 carries for 150 yards, TD, 95 receiving yards.

The Play: Trailing 9-7 at halftime, Asheboro scored the winning touchdown in the third quarter on Caleb Mason's 1-yard run.
