1 stabbed in Burlington attack

BURLINGTON — Two local men were hurt during an attack at an apartment complex Thursday night.

Burlington police said the disturbance happened shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday at the Beaumont Apartments on Beaumont Court.

James Anthony Johnson, 24, was stabbed twice. He is in stable condition at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

Benny Strayhorn Jr., 25, is being treated for a broken leg at Alamance Regional Hospital.

Robert Allen Morrow, 26, of 3104 Bragg Trail in Graham, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and is being held in the Alamance County jail on a $10,000 bond.

Police did not say what led to the incident or what sort of weapon was used. None of the three men involved lived in the complex, but police did not say why they were there.
