Friday night is the last game of the regular-season schedule for high school football before the playoffs. If you have not had a chance to catch a game, head over to your high school and support the team.
Fall festivals and crafts shows continue in our county this weekend.
The 14th annual Carolina Home Show takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday; Chinqua Penn Plantation and Vineyards will host a festival Saturday; the annual Craft Fair, Yard Sale and Bake Sale by the Garden of Eden Senior Center will take place Saturday at Bridge Street Recreation Center; and First Presbyterian Church in Eden will host its annual fall festival.
And if you have unwanted electronics, Rockingham County will host an “e-cycle” event at the Governmental Center. They will accept computers, laptops, DVDs, VCRs, TVs, stereo components, radios, small appliances or cassette tape players to keep these items out of landfills.
