Robbery suspect sought in Rockingham County

STONEVILLE — Authorities are looking for a 37-year-old man after a convenience store was robbed Tuesday night.

The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office said a man grabbed money from an open register at the Two Brothers No. 2 at 6338 N.C. 770 about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The robbery suspect told the clerk that he had a gun but did not display a weapon. The man ran out of the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

The sheriff's office said it has obtained a warrant for the arrest of Otis Lee Hill Jr. of 109 Taylor St. on a charge of robbery with a dangerous weapon. Hill is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.
