HIGH POINT — Police said they identified a robbery suspect because he left something with his name on it at the bank he robbed.
High Point police said a man walked into the Wachovia Bank at 1700 N. Main St. at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday and handed a note to a teller. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
But police said the man, in his haste to leave, dropped what they described as a personal document. Police did not say what exactly this document was but did say it had the man's name on it.
Police later obtained warrants for the arrest of 28-year-old Kelvin James Crosby on a charge of common-law robbery. Police did not say where Crosby lives. He has not been arrested.
Anyone who knows where Crosby might be can call Detective Kevin Ray at 887-7806 or High Point Crimestoppers at 889-4000.
