When it opened: September 2007 at retail, but started Splurges in our home five years prior. Opened Kernersville store Sept. 19. We just celebrated our two-year anniversary in September and had our (Kernersville) grand opening a week later.

Upcoming events: We host a fundraiser trunk show with a gift-with-purchase every month. The next event is Nov. 19-21. We will host a fundraiser to benefit Meredith Gorham, a young mother of three who had a stroke. The money raised will help with her rehabilitation. The trunk show will feature Voluspa Bath & Body products and the gift will be to the first 50 customers who purchase $25 or more (at each Splurges location). We donate 10 percent of sales to the organization on all items excluding sale items and art.
