Frost advisory issued for northern counties

The National Weather Service in Blacksburg, Va., has issued a frost advisory for overnight in Rockingham County and other areas north of Greensboro.
The advisory area also includes Caswell, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin counties in North Carolina and Henry and Pittsylvania counties in Virginia.
The frost advisory will be in effect from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. Wednesday as clear skies and light winds will drop temperatures into the lower to mid 30s.
A frost advisory means frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
