A&T holds H1N1 flu vaccine clinic Wednesday

GREENSBORO — N.C. A&T State University will offer free H1N1 vaccinations to students, staff, faculty and their families on Wednesday.

The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Exhibit Hall of the Student Union. The university has received 1,000 doses of nasal spray vaccine.

Officials are limiting who can receive the vaccine based on recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Eligible recipients are anyone:

  • age 2-24 who is healthy;
  • age 25-49 who lives with or cares for infants younger than 6 months old; or
  • age 25-49 who is a healthcare or emergency medical employee.
