Holder - Dinkins
Christina Louise Holder and Harold Wayne Dinkins, Jr. became husband and wife at sunset on Sunday, September 20, 2009. The ceremony was held at Kure Beach, NC where the groom had proposed in June.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don L. Holder, Sr. of Liberty, NC. The groom is the son of Mrs. Diane Mills Dinkins of Greensboro, NC and the late Mr. Harold Wayne Dinkins, Sr.
The ceremony, although small in size, was extremely powerful as these two joined lives not only as husband and wife, but as a family for the brides nine year old son, Isaac Joel Holder, who also served as the ring bearer for the couple. Hailey Dawn Holder, the brides niece, was the flower girl for the couple, tossing shells in lieu of flower petals. Aeron Lee Sheffield, the brides nephew assisted with the music, and Remington Taylor Brown, the brides niece assisted with reception duties. Don Beach officiated the wedding, while his wife, Kathy Beach was the photographer.
After the ceremony, their families gathered at Michaels Seafood for a Celebration Dinner and then the couple went off to their honeymoon stay at Darlings by the Sea, an oceanfront bed and breakfast also in Kure Beach, NC.
