Andrews - Stubblefield

Lisa Ann Andrews and David Stephen Stubblefield were united in marriage on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Westover Church in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Rev. Don Miller officiated.

Following the ceremony, the parents of the bride hosted the reception at Cardinal Country Club. On Friday evening, the parents of the groom hosted the rehearsal dinner at the O.Henry Hotel. A bridesmaid's luncheon was hosted by the bride's grandmother at Embassy Suites in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Andrews of Greensboro, North Carolina. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Spivey of Greensboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Andrews of Burlington, North Carolina. She is a graduate of Western Guilford High School and received Bachelor of Science degrees in political science and psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While attending there, she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority and was active in student government. She is a member of the Junior League of Greensboro and is currently a loss mitigation analyst for Republic Mortgage Insurance Company in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Stubblefield of Flowood, Mississippi. He is the grandson of Mr. Fred C. McRae and the late Mary McRae of Brandon, Mississippi and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe M. Stubblefield of Brandon, Mississippi. The groom graduated from University Christian School in Flowood, Mississippi and received a Bachelor of Science in environmental health from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. He is currently an Industrial Hygiene Consultant for the Public Health Regional Surveillance Team in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. The Maid of Honor was Heather Davis of Winston Salem, North Carolina. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Lisa Harmon of Raleigh, North Carolina, Jennifer Rickard of Kernersville, North Carolina, and Stephanie Smith of Winston Salem, North Carolina, and cousins of the bride Casey Simmons of Washington, DC and Sydney Simmons of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were friends of the groom Lee Cade of Madison, Mississippi, Lee McCardle of Brandon, Mississippi, Kenneth Smith of Tchula, Mississippi and Nick Travis of Madison, Mississippi, and cousin of the bride Ben Simmons of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Following a trip to Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina, the couple will reside in Greensboro, North Carolina.
