GREENSBORO — A Greensboro woman was awakened early Friday morning to a gunshot being fired into her home.
Sherry El of 2509 Fairfax Road said she and her roommate woke up about 3:10 a.m. to the sound of a gunshot and breaking glass inside her apartment, Greensboro police said in a news release.
A gun was fired outside the residence and through El’s bedroom window. The bullet went through a bathroom door, closet door and dented a door frame.
No injuries were reported.
Witnesses reported seeing a red Hummer parked outside the home shortly before the shooting occurred.
